Overdrive's Pride & Polish competition is now accepting submissions for the fourth year in a row, with the goal of bringing together the finest writers from across the country. Overdrive is Truckers News' sibling publication.
The 2023 Pride & Polish virtual competition began on August 1. The entry period will continue until Labor Day, September 4.
Overdrive readers will select their favorites in five categories, including Working Bobtail, Working Combo, Limited Mileage/Show, Antique, and Interior, through a public vote.
In order to qualify for the working classes, vehicles must have traveled at least 40,000 miles in the past year. The Antique class is open to all vehicles older than 25 years (model year 1998 or older).
To conclude the 2023 truck show season, the winners and finalists for each category will be announced in October. All winners and finalists will receive award plaques and profiles in our long-running Custom Rigs series, which will spotlight the truck and the owner's or driver's trucking career.
