DTNA his $1 billion in sales on Excelerator e-commerce platform

Through its Excelerator e-commerce platform, Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) has generated more than US$1 billion in retail sales.

To commemorate the occasion, DTNA has introduced PartsProX, a new digital catalog that, according to the company, provides customers and dealers with better user functionality.

According to Drew Backeberg, senior vice-president of aftermarket at DTNA, "reaching the $1 billion mark in retail sales is a significant milestone, and one that is only possible because of the collaboration between our team and our dealer network." "By delivering the precise parts our customers require as soon as possible, we're dedicated to keeping their trucks on the road. Over the coming years, we will keep enhancing the site and enhancing the purchasing experience.

To make ordering parts easier, the Excelerator website was introduced in 2020. More than 800,000 truck and bus parts and accessories are available.

"To satisfy our clients' expectations as their purchasing patterns evolve, we needed a strong e-commerce solution. For both our consumers and our internal dealership staff, Excelerator is a best-in-class selling tool, according to David Guidry, parts director for the Lonestar Truck Group.

A new tag feature for searches, an interactive Bill of Materials to find compatible parts needed to assemble a unit or system, digital images and part attributes, real-time inventory availability, and more resources are just a few of the improvements made by Daimler's new PartsProX catalog, which replaces the previous catalog.
